I feel very passionate about empowering people to look inside of themselves in order to discover everything they need to live their most meaningful, joyful and authentic life. And it all starts by building a more committed, honest, and loving relationship with yourself. Anyone can do it; the problem is we often sincerely just don’t know-how.
My Yoga Classes
Please see below for information on my current public yoga classes in Bocas del Toro, Panama. I also offer private yoga classes for individuals or small groups.
Vinyasa ( translates to flowing with breath) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. On Tuesday mornings we’ll go through a stronger flow, building strength, endurance and confidence. On Thursdays, we’ll practice a slower flow, focusing on ease of breath, release of tension, and a balanced energy in the body.”
Yin is a slow, meditative style of yoga that helps to release the deeply held tensions in our body. In a Yin Yoga class, we rest in poses for about two to five minutes to work into our connective tissues/fascial system. Some benefits include: stress and tension reduction in the body and mind, increased circulation, incredible complement to balance our yang or fast-paced life, improved flexibility; teaches and encourages mindfulness meditation and relaxing breathing techniques.

Why Private Sessions?
Gaining Initial Experience- We have so many “ideas” of what yoga is and we are able to do and not do, that it can sometimes keep us from getting started. It can be a great help for beginners to take a couple of private lessons to get started and get comfortable. Having the teacher demonstrate and talk you through each move personally can help improve form and confidence immediately, which makes it easier to get started.
Focusing on Personal Goals- Private yoga lessons offer students the ability to focus on personal interests, concerns or goals; such as flexibility, strength, pranayama, meditation, or yogic philosophy.
Health Concerns- Injuries and health concerns can make a group yoga class impractical for some participants, as a yoga teacher teaching several students at one time cannot focus on individual needs or ensure that the poses will not further injure or strain a particular person. Private sessions can assure special alterations to your yoga practice, working around/with the concern to avoid further complications.
